Oli Reed, editor of Trail Magazine joins Penny Smith on Scala Radio

Scala Radio is an entertainment radio station that breaks the mould of classical music in the UK. Presenters include Simon Mayo, Angellica Bell, Penny Smith, Alexis Ffrench and Mark Kermode. Alongside familiar masters such as Mozart, Beethoven and Bach, you can expect to hear contemporary works including film, TV and video game scores, showtunes from musicals and instrumental re-workings of pop and rock songs.

Penny Smith takes us from afternoon to evening every weekday from 4-7pm, with a playlist of classical greats and classical with a twist. Listener favourites include the Shut Your Laptop track and her Showstoppers and she has recently launched a new feature with Trail Magazine editor Oli Reed. Broadcasting every Wednesday at 4.30pm, Oli will offer tips on getting out and enjoying the great outdoors on foot.
