We always think there are three bits of kit you can’t leave the house without on any hike in Britain – boots, a waterproof jacket, and a good backpack.

Even if you’re exploring a local trail you know so well that you don’t even need a map, you need to make sure you’re looking after your feet, you’re protected when the almost inevitable downpour arrives, and that you've got a good pack on your back to stash any extra gear, layers or treats you may want.

But, as we know, finding good and reliable kit isn’t easy. That’s why the team at Fields Camping stock the Airflow backpack range, designed to offer maximum comfort and excellent performance on your outdoor adventures.

Fields Camping’s goal is to inspire a new generation of adventurers by creating comfortable and affordable kit that promotes the joy of outdoor exploration and empowers everyone to discover the beauty of the natural range.

So let’s take a look at the new range of Airflow packs…

The 35L Airflow is extra light with padded and adjustable shoulder, waist, and chest straps, which help distribute weight evenly and reduce strain on your back and shoulders.

The pack's low-profile ventilated mesh back panel also enhances airflow, keeping you cool and comfortable on walks of all lengths, at any time of year. The Airflow 35L also comes with a lightweight internal frame so you can enjoy stability and ease of movement.

The spacious main compartment provides plenty of room for all of your hiking essentials, while the internal slip pocket keeps valuables safe and secure. The Airflow is also hydration bladder compatible.

The top cover of the main compartment has a small shallow zip pocket, which is great for quick access to things like snacks, shades, or A headtorch. And we like the zipped pocket at the front of the bag, which makes it easy to stash hiking essentials like maps or gloves.

Constructed from a water-resistant lightweight fabric, the Airflow 35 offers protection from unexpected showers or splashes. For heavier downpours, it also comes with an integrated rain cover which packs away in a pouch at the bottom of the bag. You get trekking pole attachment points to keep your poles secure and easily accessible, plus elasticated mesh side pockets that are ideal for water bottles.

A couple of other nice touches are the grab handle just above the shoulder straps and the reflective details on the front of the bag, which enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

Available colours: Black and Graphite

The Airflow 25L backpack is the extra-light and slightly smaller sibling of the Airflow 35L described above, with a frameless but sturdy design.

Like the 35L, it also features padded and adjustable shoulder, waist, and chest straps, plus a ventilated back panel for maximum airflow. The pack is hydration bladder compatible, has elasticated mesh side pockets that are large enough for a water bottle, plus a front zipped main compartment with an internal zipped pocket that’s perfect for smaller essentials.

The Airflow 25L's lightweight fabric is water-resistant and backed up by the integrated rain cover stowed away at the base of the bag. The yellow reflective trim around the main zipped compartment looks cool as well as improving visibility in low light, plus you also get a grab handle on the back and trekking point attachment points on both sides of the pack.
