Are you looking to take on a new sporting challenge in one of the UK’s most scenic locations?
With its stunning scenery, unrivalled setting and its natural arena, Keswick is the perfect location for a Mountain Festival and an inspiring starting point for any adventurer!
Keswick is home to some of the most dramatic landscapes in Britain, with a spectacular array of mountains, valleys, lakes and tarns all within relatively easy reach and all just waiting to be explored. Close at hand are the four highest mountains in England – Scafell and Scafell Pike, Skiddaw and Helvellyn – each over 3,000 feet high and a challenge for even the most experienced fell walker.
Or if you’d prefer a gentler stroll with amazing vews, the panorma from the top of Catbells just over Derwent water is spectacular, offering an aerial view of the festival site. For walks with even less ascent, the woodland around Derwent Water is a beautiful location to wander.
But for those who like to push themselves and compete against other likeminded individuals, it’s the sports lineup that’ll really get the pulse pumping in anticipation! Whether you're a trail runner, open water swimmer or road cyclist, Keswick Mountain Festival has a sporting event for you - in fact, if you want to do all three, why not consider a triathlon?
All race entries also include an event t-shirt, photo, as well as a free concert ticket to enjoy the live music on Friday and Saturday evenings (click here for the lineup) so why not make a weekend of it?
Discounted ‘Early Bird’ prices are available until the 28th February, so get in quick! You can book your place or find out more about the events and activities that will be on offer at the 2019 Keswick Mountain Festival by clicking the link below.
