Snowdonia Walking Festival is returning for 2019 with a range of walks and opportunities to gain outdoor skills for the whole family.
Experience and enjoy the magical surroundings of Snowdonia National Park, with its unique and majestic beauty as a family, or come along on your own, there’s something for everyone.Based in Betws-y-Coed, the ‘Gateway to Snowdonia’ with its stunning forests and lakes; from here a range of professionally guided walks will take you to mountains and forests to enjoy some of the best Snowdonia has to offer.
Over the weekend there’s chance for adults and children of all ages to explore nature with one of our local experts. You can climb the most northerly peak in the national park with Snowdonia Society, enjoy Llyn Elsi and the Gwydyr Forest. Or if you’re looking for something a little more challenging then Crimpiau and Clogwyn Mawr is the perfect way to explore the quieter parts of Snowdonia while enjoying some of the best views of the national park.
There are Navigation introduction sessions for anyone over 12 and RAW Adventures are back with their very popular Mountain Skills day.
This year Snowdonia Walking Festival will take place Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November. Supported by Betws-y-Coed Tourism Association and co-ordinated by Breese Adventures. Information on all the walks mentioned above and others is available at snowdoniawalkingfestival.co.uk.
