A new hostel has opened this month in the legendary Ogwen Valley in Snowdonia.
Neil Martinson and Jill Hughes have spent the past two years refurbishing a former Fleet Air Arm training centre into a comfortable 26 bed hostel with outstanding views of Tryfan, the Glyders and the Carneddau.
Surrounded by most of the Welsh Three Thousands you can walk, climb or bike from the door. A short walk takes you to the Afon Ogwen and you can swim whilst gazing at the Glyders. Or you can relax and read in the Jan Morris reading room.
Secluded yet with easy access to the mountains of Snowdonia and the stunning beaches of Anglesey, you can find out moe about the hostel at www.snowdoniamountainhostel.com
