Sprayway Hawk 2010

The price of the Sprayway Hawk is lower than most jackets here, and there are some good features for the money. So you get a jacket made from Sprayway’s well-proven HydroDry fabric, which offers good performance. There is a mesh lining for added comfort, and two hip pockets are provided as well. On this jacket unlike some others you get drawcords at the hem and Velcro adjustment at the cuff, so you can refine the fit as your child grows into it. The hood too has a volume adjuster and elastication around the face for a reasonable fit. It can also be rolled down and secured at the collar if not needed. The front zip has a single stormflap with press studs, and there is reflective piping on the front and back of the sleeves. There are no big problems with the Sprayway Hawk, although other jackets have a double stormflap rather than a single stormflap over the front zip. The storm is press studded in place rather than using Velcro tabs. The hood rolls down to the collar but does not have a pocket in the collar for it to be stashed into. The two pockets don’t have zipped entry.
