Very light – more a windshirt than a full-on soft shell, but the Cadion does a great job in milder conditions, keeping a little rain at bay comfortably and breathing exceptionally well. The fabric stretches easily making it great to move about in, too. It’s quite minimalist in design with just one small chest pocket, elasticated cuffs and no drawcord or similar at the hem. Not the most versatile, but will do a job in milder conditions, and it certainly won’t take up much space or weigh much in the bottom of your rucksack.
