The Haglöfs Mid Trail Pant are a durable pair of trousers that aren’t as light and airy as others we looked at but do feel more robust and might suit a wider range of climates. A secure inner pocket and a zipped leg pocket on both legs will accommodate a passport, traveller’s cheques or mobile, and you can cinch in the legs at the bottom. They definitely occupy the upper quadrant in terms of sheer comfort and style.
