This daysack from Vango has a nice concave-style back system, and the Airvent is cool and dry to wear and the back-length about ideal. Against it though, the padded hip fins stick up at an odd angle. It’s a robust rucksack that proves tighter on space than some, but is reasonably stable and also has some nice features. A decent selection of pockets, but quite heavy and lacks compression straps.
Verdict: A smallish but well-featured 35-litre pack that’s ideal for winter walking or the odd weekend away. A notch down from the best in quality, but still decent value for money.
