Lowe Alpine Edge 22XL

This lower-priced pack from Lowe Alpine may not have a fancy back system or ribbons of straps dangling from the back, but what it does have is a solid build construction along with a clean enough design, making it practical for day-to-day use as well as more outdoor activities. On a recent recent trip to Turkey is was at home as much sightseeing as it was on the trail. The build quality is good, with a hard-wearing ripstop outer fabric that shows no signs of wear even after more than a few rocky scrapes, although the smoother grey nylon fabric does have some slight scratches. Inside a central pocket is a good size for summer day use, with a useful zip pocket sewn into the front for keys etc. The front zip pocket is just about large enough to squeeze a folded OS map into.
