This daysack is a good-quality, easy-to-use all-rounder. It is usefully split into two sections by a zip-out divide allowing equipment packed at the bottom to be accessed easily by a large zip opening at the base. You get both a walking pole and ice axe attachments, a detachable rain cover, hydration housing and an idiot’s guide to being rescued. All these features are well-positioned and useful. The lid has both an internal and external pocket, while there is an OS-sized pocket on the front. The back system comes with adjustable shoulder straps and chest strap, and the hipbelt adjusts inwards. This all makes for a good fit. But the back length may be on the short side for some, while others may find the separate compartment more of a hindrance than a help, so personal preferences may force you away from this sack.
