The Coleman Crossroads 28 unisex rucksack is quite a basic pack comfort-wise, with a very flat, channelled back system and simple webbing for the waist and chest straps. The Coleman Crossroads 28 shoulder straps are well-contoured and, overall, it doesn’t feel bad at all. Very stable, thanks to the close-fitting back system and double compression straps. Easy to pack, with space for a hydration bladder, but oddly it doesn’t have a port through which to thread the hose.

Verdict A good, well-built zip-opening rucksack that’s extremely stable and ideal for typical day-walks in the UK. Maybe a little expensive compared to some.
