Aztec Cerro 35

This daysack from Aztec has a channelled back that is cool enough, but it’s a little flimsy so careful packing is needed. The shoulder straps are well padded and reasonably positioned, but the chest strap is a little high. Although not as substantial as some and with fewer bells and whistles, the Cerro doesn’t feel too bad on your back, especially when packed carefully and not overfull. It’s also attractively cheap.

Verdict: A notably cheaper pack than many, but it is comfortable and functional and will certainly do a job, especially if used only occasionally.
