This is a very warm duvet jacket, and it’s warmer than most others. It incorporates 250g of down insulation, and the shell is very water-resistant. The collar is also fleeced-lined. There is a little extra reinforcement on the sleeves and shoulders for extra durability. You get a removable hood too, which fitted well and had plenty of insulation. The two deep hip pockets get zips, and there is an additional zipped internal pocket. Adjustable cuffs give a good fit too. A stuffsack is provided for packing the jacket away in your rucksack. Generally this has everything you would want from a duvet in cold weather and the removable hood makes it useful in a variety of conditions. But 798g it is getting heavy, compared some other options. But note that you get a hood weighing 70g, plus reinforcement on the sleeves and a generally tougher fabric on the whole, but more importantly there is a little extra warmth compared to lighter options. So it may weigh more but you are getting a lot of worthwhile extra features for the weight. The design is sewn through to prevent down migration across the jacket, as are most duvets, so you will get cold spots at these lines of stitching.
