Millet Techno Stretch

This is a lightweight fleece mid layer that is also low in price. It is a thin fleece which is slightly more wind-resistant than some and has excellent breathability. Put it on as part of a layering system and it performs well either under waterproofs, soft shells or other fleece layers. It is very stretchy too which has allowed it to benefit from a close yet not restrictive fit. A full-length front zip provides excellent temperature control, which is ideal for layering garments. A small chest pocket comes in useful for a compass. Thumb loops keep the wrists warm too. It’s also ideal for lots of fast-moving activities. But you don’t get many pockets, so you’ll need somewhere else to stow a map. There is no hem drawcord, but the elasticated fit locked out draughts very well, so this is not a major issue. It is not as warm as some others though, so you’ll need another warm layer. Like most fleece mid layers it does not have a hood.
