These have a look of quality about them. Or maybe it’s the opulent looking brass-coloured lace loops. Actually the leather used is thick and of a good quality and there is a quality rand surrounding the whole shoe that protects the expensive leather from scrapes. The boot uses quite a snug-fitting last, so this is more likely to be suited to those with a low-volume foot. The lower volume boot in general really helps to position feet in the right place and avoid slippages. The slightly lower cut to the boot does make them suited to lower level walking and they really excel at that. They may only struggle in true wintry conditions, because of the slightly lower cuff.
