Review: With a suede and fabric upper, and stacks of padding, the Mt Envy is a wonderfully comfortable boot with a slightly broad last. It’s a very stiff boot and this makes it superb with crampons on, but at the same time, a bit less versatile without them. The Vibram outsole has deep cleats that provide plenty of purchase in mud or snow, and the area beneath the toe has a smooth section marked as a Climbing Zone, which is more useful for scrambling than it is for walking. It’s a good winter walking boot, but better for climbing and very expensive.
