Available in boys’ and girls’ colours, the Peter Storm Harrison offers reasonable protection for the foot with a waterproof lining. There is some reasonable stiffness underfoot too. This is a generally well-designed valley walking boot that should be fine for many children. But take this boot onto the hills and the drawbacks may become more evident. The toe box is a little soft, the sole flex is not quite as stiff as it could be for rockier terrain. Also the outsole lug pattern is very shallow.

The Peter Storm Harrison is a reasonable boot, but its design limits it to easier terrain on forest tracks and valley walks.
