This is a robust sandal with plenty of good features. The straps are wide and protect the feet well, while a three-point adjustment means a good fit should be possible. Inside the straps there’s a good level of padding for added comfort. The footbed is well-cushioned too, again adding comfort. The outsole is robust with good stiffness and more cushioning, so these are very comfortable on a wide variety of terrain. To keep you moving there’s a good, rugged set of studs and lugs that should be ideal for most terrain where sandals might be expected to perform. All that for just £40 makes these excellent value.
The main drawback is that the straps are made from suede leather, so they’ll be slow to dry and require a little more care and attention than synthetic straps. There’s no antibacterial treatment with these sandals either, so they may start to pong sooner than some other designs.

Verdict: A great sandal for general use and a superb price for what you get, but more cash brings antibacterial treatments and faster-drying straps.
