Primus Gravity II EF

For regular use, a low-profile gas stove is an excellent option; gas is easier to use and the low-profile design makes the stove more stable. The Primus Gravity II EF is an excellent example of this type of design. It comes with folding legs to make it even more stable while the exceptionally slender design really hugs the ground. Most importantly, you also get a windshield to improve performance. The burner has a piezo ignition, making it easier to light, while a good flexible hose connects the burner to its fuel supply, allowing the gas cylinder to be inverted to improve output. The result is good performance, superb stability, reasonable weight and superb value. This stove is ideal for a wide variety of situations thanks to its blend of features. But the best boil time is only available with a fresh gas canister – like most of the gas stoves tested here. Other stoves are lighter and more compact too, while some stoves provide better boil times for greater efficiency.
