A couple of months ago Squash Falconer headed out to the Aosta Valley in Italy with a rather unusual goal.
The plan was to climb Monte Rosa (the highest mountain on the Swiss/Italian boarder and the second-highest in both the Alps and western Europe at 4,634m) and paraglide down from the top.
However, the weather had other ideas and heavy snow put an end to those plans. A metre fell in the days before Squash's intended climb and although by the day of ascent the weather cleared it was unlikely that she would make the top of the Monte Rosa with so much snow to wade through.
So the morning Squash was due to begin her climb she changed plans and headed down the Aosta Valley to climb Gran Paradiso instead. As usual she had her GoPro with her - check out the video below to see what happened!
