More than 2,400 beacons were lit across the UK and Commonwealth to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubliee.
And while many of us werent able to get up onto the hills on 4 June, some talented photographers did. The photo at the top of this page was taken by Trevor James of the Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team. We're told that the Queen was toasted with the aid of Penderyn - highest quality Welsh whisky, straight from the bottle in some instances!
