Moel Siabod

A truly great mountain of north Wales’ heartland is this most southerly of the Carneddau, fittingly nicknamed the Podium of Snowdonia. Its climax is an elegant rock promontory that stretches towards the summit rocks and gives a revelatory view of Snowdon and its horseshoe.
Best route: via its cracking little south-east ridge – an easy Grade 1 scramble.
