This winter glove’s shell is made from Gore-Tex XCR waterproof fabric, so it is well-proven for performance. Like others you get a reinforced palm, and in this case it is made of leather. There is also padding on the back of the hand to protect the knuckles from knocks. The fingers tips are seamless to improve dexterity and the feel at the fingers is about as good as most others. The gauntlet style has a drawcord cuff adjuster and a webbing strap around the wrist, making this a very secure fit, while many others lack this extra wrist adjuster. The glove offers good warmth and benefits from a couple of good extra features that include a nose wipe and goggle wipe as well as reflective orange piping. If you like gloves with built-in liners, then this is one of the best and it’s ideal for most winter walkers. But you cannot remove the lining for closer temperature control or to allow greater dexterity by just wearing a liner glove occasionally. These are minor drawbacks that many will overlook I suspect as the glove has clear advantages over others.
