This multi-activity jacket is very hard-wearing garment that uses a tougher version of Gore Paclite than used in most other jackets. So this fabric feels ideal for lots of hard abuse in use. At 516g (men‘s size L) it is not light, but not overly heavy either. The fabric is also rated as extremely waterproof and extremely breathable, so you should stay reasonably dry. The fabric also has stretch in it, which allows a closer fit without any restriction in movement. There are two large chest pockets plus a third smaller pocket on the chest. The hood rolls to the collar and can be secured in place. On the head it fits very well and moves with the head. This is a tough, closefitting jacket that has lots of uses. But the price tag is too high for what you are getting. There are no huge drawbacks, but the hood peak is a bit big and pointy, and could easily be improved. Gore’s Pro Shell fabric controls condensation better than Gore Paclite too. Not the best fo running or night action either.
