The Skur is a great lightweight back-up jacket. It packs down neatly into its own stuff sac for storage in your pack. When on it really is lightweight and the design has very little to increase the weight or get in the way of the fabric function. There are no underarm vents, and only a couple of chest pockets with mesh backing to give a bit of venting. The fabric itself functions well enough where condensation is concerned and is by no means the least breathable. The hood has a streamlined cinch adjustment that does work, although it can be a little difficult to relax the toggles around the face when it gets warm inside, but the hood itself isn’t the most substantial offering, with a relatively flimsy peak.
