These waterproof overtrousers have some nice ‘different’ features. They are unusual in having a stuffsack for easy packing. They are constructed from a bombproof, highly breathable fabric. The waist is not only elasticated with an easy-to-use drawcord, but it’s also fleece-lined for extra comfort. They have knee-length side zips which make them easier to get on than those with only a quarter-length zip. The zips are also backed inside with a very substantial stormflap. At the ankle cuff there are Velcro tabs that are well-positioned above the hem of the trousers to give adjustment if needed. The hem is trimmed with reflective tape to ensure you will not be missed in the dark. But by putting the side zips at an angle, the fit at the knees has been adversely affected. While the fleece-lined waist is great and the reflective hem is potentially useful, a full-length zip would have been more functional and a better use of the time and money that went into the manufacturing of these trousers.
