Unusually, this daysack features a snow lock extension for the mouth of the pack along with a compression strap. This is a really useful, important feature and will prevent rain entering even if you overfill it. The ventilated back system has shoulder straps, a chest strap and hipbelt, which all provide basic adjustment and padding where needed. There are fastenings for walking poles and axes, and housing for a hydration system. The pockets positioned on each side of the pack will accommodate a litre-sized Nalgene bottle and the front pocket is OS map-sized with space to spare. But there are no side compression straps for either the pockets or the main pack, meaning unused space will be flapping in the breeze. Also the wand pockets are rather flimsy. There are packs out there with more adjustment in the fit too.
