An exceptionally comfortable, robust and intuitive rucksack. The adjustable sliding harness is easy to master so you really can tailor it to your height. Bright internal panels mean it’s easy to find what you’re looking for, and it has a removable internal divider: you can shrink the main section for smaller loads (and use the lower section for something you need quickly), or just have a huge main compartment. The expanding side panels easily take a jacket each. It is flawlessly stable, even on steep ascents or at a jog on uneven terrain. It lacks hip-fin pockets so your camera or GPS will have to ride in the side panels, and it isn’t particularly feminine – but when it’s this comfy, that barely matters.
