The Tevasphere is an innovative new design that uses a slightly odd-looking spherical heel shape to increase braking when descending and a unique arch technology that is designed to neutralise pronation and supernation – common problems in runners and also in walkers. It’s the lightest shoe tested due to its 100% synthetic, mainly mesh upper, yet it does feel surprisingly stable, even on hard ground. The fit is fairly neutral and it has plenty of padding as well as great shock absorption. An eVENT membrane keeps water out but the sole unit is definitely better on firmer ground as it lacks the depth of tread to dig into softer going.
