Scarpa Trek GTX

Definitely worth a look if your feet are narrow. A women’s specific last and a good lacing system makes it easy to get a good fit across the foot, although there’s no offset locking eyelet. They have gorgeous nubuck leather uppers which stayed looking good throughout the test. Not as much underfoot cushioning as some, and less midsole support which makes them more suitable to easier terrain. The high, supportive ankle cuff feels great on uneasy terrain, and coupled with a Gore-Tex membrane, keeps water out. Minimal padding means your feet shouldn’t get too hot except on very warm days.
