TheTrackfinders are very lightweight shoes that look and feel more like a stiff trainer than a multi-activity shoe. There’s a decent amount of lateral stiffness in the midsole, but a very flexible toe restricts them to use on flat trails only. They’re distinct from other women’s shoes as they don’t have a waterproof lining. This doesn’t mean you should dismiss them, though – coupled with plenty of mesh in the uppers, the lack of waterproof lining makes them extremely breathable, keeping your feet cool and comfortable on dry walks in warm weather. If your feet do get wet, there’s the added bonus that they will dry relatively quickly, although they lose a few marks for lack of versatility. There’s also very limited reinforcement at the toe.
