Brasher’s Colima 3-season boot is a great new product that has the typical Brasher styling but with a little extra support. You get a simple leather upper for maximum performance; a leather lining adds comfort; a waterproof Gore-Tex liner keeps your feet dry. The toe box is good and stiff for rocky ground, while the heel cup is very supportive. Underfoot you get good cushioning as always with Brasher. But you also get a stiff flex, making this good for rocky ground, and a very aggressive lug pattern to keep you moving through the mud. This is great all-round performance that should be perfect for valley, hill, mountain and moorland walkers. It is a little heavier than some similar boots (however it is a little more protective and supportive too). Some boots on the market have a full rubber rand and a higher ankle support for rocky terrain. So if you’re heading for scree and scrambling on rocky mountains, you may prefer alternative footwear.
