The Pro Rush’s soft mesh uppers ensure extreme comfort straight from the box and an excellent lacing system makes it really easy to get a good fit. They’re also wonderfully light. The Gore-Tex XCR lining will feel a little sweaty on really hot days, but it does mean you won’t get wet feet walking through long grass or shallow puddles. A fairly stiff midsole provides plenty of support on rough terrain, while a good flex at the toe helps spur you forward. There’s rubber reinforcement at the toe, heel and ankle, good shock absorption, and the deep lugs on the outsole mean that they grip well on mud, yet they still work well on rock. An all-rounder that works as well in the hills as it does on the street.
