This kit bag looks about as tough as you can get, thanks to the 1000 denier tarpaulin material, but in our puncture tests it was not as good as expected. The oversized handles allow the holdall to be carried as a backpack, but you get a pair of dedicated shoulder straps too which although sewn on can be folded into an end pocket. The main drawback is that the zips are not easily locked.
Capacity: 85 litres
Material puncture resistance: 281N
Verdict: A reasonably tough, high-volume bag that is heavy and lacks locking zips.
