Pure Hydration AquaPure Traveller (2013)

The Pure Hydration AquaPure Traveller allows you to collect water and then drink it safely when you’re ready. The filter is screwed onto the top of the bottle and can be replaced when it reaches the end of its service life, thereby preventing the bottle itself having to be thrown away. Like other modern filters, there are no chemicals needed to remove viruses, while the filter also removes debris, creating safe water that has been approved by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. To use it simply remove the filter cap, collect some water in the bottle and then drink the water by sucking it through the filter cap. The service life of 350 litres is less than most devices but that’s still plenty for a few treks, and the Pure Hydration AquaPure Traveller easier to use than most devices without any fiddly batteries, pumps or pipes. It’s not an ideal unit if you need to collect and filter lots of water because its capacity is limited by the size of the bottle, but as long as you can collect water regularly on your walk this is ideal for drinking water safely on the go.
