Here’s a well-built pair of poles offering a minimal amount of wobble on the trail. The lack of anti-shock adds to their stiffness, but makes them a little bit more unforgiving on hard terrain. Getting the poles to length is easy with the flick-lock system that is a vast improvement on the twist-lock of others. The cork grips are good too, offering decent traction in all conditions – even when wet. The top of the grip is ergonomically shaped to fit in the palm of the hand on downhill stretches and wrist straps are infinitely adjustable with a buckle system that can be fiddly to adjust on the go, but does stay in place when set.
