A decent enough, middle-of-the-road pole that does everything it’s supposed to at a decent price. The poles are sturdy, although not the most rigid, with a bit of flex if you don’t apply pressure straight down their length. The anti-shock system functions as it’s supposed to, with stiff spring suspension that isn’t distractingly noisy, although even with it locked-out, there is a bit of movement in the shaft. The cork grips feel pleasant in the hand and not too hard or too soft, with a decent length – they also make a pleasant change to the plastics used on other models. The straps are fine too, with a strip of soft lining whilst still retaining a narrow shape that doesn’t overwhelm the hand.
