Win a weekend in this cottage this October
For you and up to five friends
We've fallen love with this place. Why? Well, it sits in the remotest reaches of Bodmin Moor, 1½ miles from the nearest road, with just the River Fowey, the curlews and moorland views for company. Ancient settlements and angular rocks top Leskernick Hill behind the house, and Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall, is under an hour’s walk away.
And it’s as cosy inside as it’s wild outside, with wood-burning stoves, a range cooker, dishwasher, TV and even broadband – although nothing on the web beats the vista out the window. Three bedrooms – two double (one ensuite), one twin – sleep six, and there’s a family bathroom too.
Access is along a suitably rustic, bumpy track and a car with good ground clearance like a 4x4 is essential – or there are options for walking in. Enter now!
