Gear Exclusive - Hi-Tec Altitude Ultra Ion Mask walking boots

i have read so many negative reports on these boots and i had actually considered buying them but decided against it. this is a shame as hi-tec do make some really nice gear and i eventually went for a pair of hi - tec quebec waterproof boots instead of these. i can highly reccommend these quebec boots as they have been one of the most comfortable pairs of boots i have owned and they have never let me down in any way. i have worn them on dartmoor through many bogs, through parts of the south west coast path and over most types of terrian and they have always performed very well. they are a nubuck leather and i have just waxed them and this has made them look even better. in conclusion i would say to people do not stop buying hi-tec footwear but until these boots are sorted out and made to perform better try another model and you would not go wrong with quebec. the list price on quebec's is around £70 but i got them for £30 in brantano.
