Gear exclusive: Vaude Versametric Proof

I tried this sack at the Outdoor Show, it was very comfortable and felt very stable, fantastic, but it didn't have any load in it. There didn't seem too many places to strap gear to (roll mats, tents, poles) or any easily accessible pockets to put gloves etc in. The fully floating lid was fantastic. I think this sack is more suited for climbers and not trekkers or backpackers. The price was around £200 which I think is a bit steep for a 65 litre sack (not fantastic). The back system is a nice concept but is let down by lack of features of the sack itself. Did I buy it? No.

Good vid and nice sack, but is there room for a thesaurus in there? Mr Thompson uses the word 'fantastic' five times in the first 60 seconds. Can't fault the enthusiasm, but maybe we could have a 'terrific', 'great' or 'lovely' now and then :o)
