Gear Exclusive: Crux Torpedo 500 Sleeping bag

I've got a Macpac Epic 450 which is a similar concept of a waterproof, breathable, seam sealed outer with welded baffles. I love it, I've got covered in heavy dew on the top of Cader Idris, I've had a wet dog lying all over me in it and I've spilt tea on it (thanks to my dog) and it just shrugs it off. Its nice to see Crux using Event as this is a well provent fabric which I have no doubt will be 110% waterproof and plenty breathable enough. The Macpac bag uses some form of a coated Pertex which does make me wonder just how waterproof it is for, say, bivying in puddles in? I also own a Rab survival zone bivi bag and if I ever used a different, non waterproof bag, I'd take it along and uses it for piece of mind.

Nice review, but with a sleeping bag (esp. one at this price!) it would be nice to see its warmth rating tested by both Graham and (ideally, in addition) one of those copper sleep test dummies. -10 comfort for c.1kg is v. respectable, but does it suffer cold spots/breathability problems? And the waterproof bag - would this not seal in surface water (assuming it rained in the night), allowing the event skin/down to 'wet out'? And how small does it compress, if one were to substitute a standard nylon compression sack? Still, on paper/video, it does look pretty nice..
