Up Scafell Pike in the wind and hail

This is a picture of myself, wife Pat, dog Henry, my son Christian and Grandson Luke (aged 7) halfway up Scafell Pike. 

Luke enjoyed every minute of the climb until the weather changed at the top (wind & hail).

We took shelter, had a sandwich and headed down.

What a fantastic acheivement for a young boy of seven. Next challenge for Luke is Ben Nevis.
