The video below was captured by a military police officer Chris Swallow.
It shows a big black animal on a railway line which at first glance Mr Swallow thought was a labradour.
The footage was taken on his camera phone near Faslane, on the Clyde, south west Scotland.
LFTO has reported cases of cat sightings in Hampshire and in the Yorkshire Dales but we've not encountered a video like this.
