Team Trail complete Race for Life!

Team Trail took to the running track last night, Wednesday, July 1, to run 5km for Cancer Research UK.

Trail writers Phoebe Smith and Claire Maxted and art editor Louise Parker braved the 30 degree heat to complete the course along with 2,500 women in Race for Life 2009.

Phoebe, who was running in memory of her mum wearing a neon pink wig, said: "I just want to say thank you to everyone who has sponsored us - we've been overwhelmed by the support.

"So far we've raised £220 for Cancer Research UK which is fantastic.

"It's amazing that Peterborough alone managed to raise quarter of a million pounds for the charity and with every penny raised we're one step closer to finding a cure for a disease that touches so many people."
