Danny Boyle, director of Slumdog Millionaire, is about to direct a new film featuring climber Aron Ralston.
Ralston was famously forced to amputate his own arm in 2003.
It had been trapped under a boulder in the Utah mountains and Ralston had survived for five days drinking his own urine before undertaking the gruesome task of removing his arm with a knife and pair of pliers.
He later wrote a book about his experience - Between a Rock and a Hard Place - and now his story will be adapted to the screen.
Filming for '127 Hours' will begin early next year.
