The festival season is well and truly underway and this weekend gives us a family cracker.

Following the success of a Lake District Weekend in February, outdoor clothes company Rohan is putting on a second event, based in Dunster, the Gateway to Exmoor.

There’s plenty of interest for walkers, such as the Bats Castle Walk, a moderate walk leading to an ancient settlement with incredible views.

There are also bat tours around the garden at Dunster Castle, which homes around 17 different bat species.

Bushcraft Walks and demonstrations are also on offer for those keen to learn survival skills.

For members of the family that are not so keen on walking there are events such as archery, mountain biking, balloon rides and live music.
