Funky new device on North East England website

Those heading to the north-east and looking for outdoorsy ideas could do a lot worse than trying this snazzy website.

It features something called an Adventure Generator – a sort of Wheel of Fortune for outdoor pursuits.

Click to spin and the generator will display three activities at random.

If, say, you like two of them but not the other, you can spin that one again until you’re presented with something more appealing.

Activities include hill walking, gliding, skiing and walking on water!

The generator’s fun to try even if you’re not planning a trip there and the website’s very interactive with cracking images ind videos.
