It's not so dangerous to spend a day on top of Everest

But only if you believe three Sherpa brothers who plan to pray on the summit for 24 hours!

Pemba Dorje, Nima Gyalzen and Phurba Tenzing also plan to carry with them a 30cm statue of the Buddha.

If they stay at the top for a full 24 hours they will break the current world record of 20.

Between the three of them they have already made 16 ascents to the summit and this time they will dig a hole in the snow to provide a platform on which to put up their tent.
