Several weeks ago LFTO reported that park chief exec Lindsay Cornish was under great pressure.

A letter criticising her style of management had been sent to top civil servants.

Well now she's quit her role and the national park has appointed 51-year-old Barrie Foley as her interim replacement.

Cornish led controversial plans to introduce dog-free car parks, tighter restrictions for horse owners and possible road tolls.
